breathing is good

Sistah-friends! Blogville, Illinois has been quiet because I've been down for the count with a really nasty cold/bronchitis -- mostly I've managed to go about my daily business, but, sadly, exercise has been out of the question. I have a friend who's training to be a yoga instructor, and she wants to practice teaching on me, since I'm a blank slate when it comes to yoga -- we had our first session Sunday evening, but had to halt it because the allegedly "calming" breathing exercises found me generating an alarming, rattly, tubercular sound! I think I'm on the mend now, and may head back to the gym tonight if I'm still standing by then. But really, my goals for the week are a return to health, a return to normal energy, and one or two workouts. Once I'm back in fighting form, I do want to get the pedometer out -- i've gotten out of that habit but i'd like to get back in, because i think i did walk more when i'd get that tiny little treat of seeing 10,000 steps!
