I'm back in Evanston after my week of tending to the gimpy -- my mom had a rough few days post-surgery but seems to be stable and progressing well now. I did actually keep in the exercise groove while I was there, because the weather was good and going outside for long walks was the nicest way to escape the confines of the hospital -- and I even went to the gym when I got home yesterday! My goal for this week is to have five days of good exercise -- gym maybe, but if it's nice, outside -- and to keep on working the WW thing. I seem to have broken through my stall and am making SLOW but nonetheless steady downward progress.
